Hydrophilic PVDF STERILE MEMBRANE FILTER
Hydrophilic PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) membranes are commonly used in a variety of general filtration and sample preparation applications. For sterile and general filtration applications, our unique, modified hydrophilic PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) membrane with ultra low binding properties, broad chemical and temperature resistance, and high flow rates is an excellent choice. We recommend using our hydrophilic PVDF in applications such as multi-plexed bead-based assays, the filtration of dilute protein samples, cold and hot water for injection (WFI), chemicals, aggressive solvents and sanitizing agents.
For the filtration and degassing of the solvent-based mobile phases, our portfolio includes an HPLC-certified material available in 0.2 and 0.45um, which provides assurance that the filter material will not add artifacts or extractables to the samples for analysis. The chemical compatibility of the membrane includes aggressive acids and alcohols making it useful for the filtration of both aggressive and non-aggressive solvent-based mobile phases. We do not recommend using this membrane for the filtration of acetone, DMSO, or based>6N.
