Syringe Filter PTFE
Instruction
Syringe filters are a cost-effective way to improve the quality of HPLC analysis, improve consistency, extend column life and reduce maintenance. By removing particulates before the sample enters the column, syringe filters allow unimpeded flow. Without particulates to create obstructions, your column will work more efficiently and last longer.
Application
In addition to HPLC, syringe filters have a multitude of other applications. A syringe filter adds a few minutes and a minimal expense to your testing process, but you will see a big return on your investment.
Small volume venting
HPLC sample preparation
Removal of protein precipitates
Routine QC analysis
Dissolution testing
Our Advantage
Housing material is medical grade polypropylene
Precisely designed structure ensures the fluency of the filtration. Reasonable inner space minimize the hold-up volume, so that the waste will be reduced
Edge with screws makes operator to use easily.
Cooperate with one of the biggest membrane suppliers in the world. Pore size is accurate, so that your instrument can be well protected
Stable membrane quality. Few difference between batch and batch assures the analysis result consistently.
Standard female and male lure lock

About the membrane
PTFE membrane is hydrophobic in nature and is effective barriers to microbes and particulate matter. The high titer reduction and water intrusion pressure allow the membrane to repel high surface tension liquids while venting gases. PTFE membranes are used in a variety of healthcare applications such as vents on IV filters and spike vents, protecting equipment and sensors from fluids and contamination, and substrates for tissue growth and implacable. Material characteristics include broad chemical compatibility, excellent particle retention, easy handling and sealing, and compatibility with various sterilizing methods, making it a versatile material for applications that require a hydrophobic barrier. Whether you need to keep fluid confined while letting air or gas pass, a breathable particle, or a sterile barrier, PTFE is the ideal membrane. Excellent lot-to-lot consistency ensures product performance meets critical application requirements. Our PTFE membrane has one of the best ratios of airflow to particle retention available on the market. PTFE membranes are particularly suitable for preparing samples for HPLC analysis. The membrane is laminated onto a non-woven polypropylene support web for improved strength and handling and can be used at temperatures up to 150ºC. PTFE is the membrane of choice for use with the aggressive solvents, liquids and gases that can attack other membranes. It is resistant to most acids, alkalis and solvents.
